We proudly announce the addition of Jack Phipps to our staff, as
Administrative Manager. Jack is taking the position ably filled by Gordon Dowell, our
administrative guru for the last five years. Our gratitude to Gordon is boundless
and he leaves footprints which will be hard to fill. He deserves our deepest
gratitude and respect. Gordon served without a paycheck, but surely has built a
great treasure in Heaven.
Jack comes to us with more than 25 years with Texas Instruments. He has
served in multiple congregations and as elder in two Dallas churches. He and his
wife, Norma, have three daughters and six grandchildren. Jack’s love of the work
and eagerness for the position set him apart from other candidates and we
look forward to years of dedicated service. He is a member of the University
Church of Christ in Abilene.
